The Goldfish

I wanted to try a Pixar-like cartoon character with this sculpt. Years ago I bought a 15¢ goldfish from a pet store, saving him the fate of being a turtle’s meal. This fish is now 10 inches long and going on 8 years old! Why not sculpt him. It was fun using different metallic materials on him to capture the shimmer of his scales. In addition, Nomad (at the time of this project) introduced the ability to make refractive and transparent materials…so naturally, glasses.
