Apollo 10 1/2 : A Space Age Childhood
Apollo 10 1/2 was a fully rotoscoped imaginary movie about the space race of the late 1960’s as seen through the eyes of a young boy in 1969. Directed by Richard Linklater, it takes place in the suburbs of Houston Texas.
This was my first time ever making a movie with Minnow Mountain Studio. I wore a few hats there for this film. I was one of their team leads, with 6 amazingly talented animators at my disposal. I also stayed on post-production do animate some effects, populate backgrounds with animated extras and did some of the coloring. This film looks great and i can’t wait for you all to see it on April 1st 2022 on Netflix!
